GovDC Marketplace conference in September
New South Wales' GovDC will hold its flagship GovDC Marketplace Event 2017 on 14 September to introduce federal, state and local leaders to the GovDC Marketplace.
The conference will be held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse. GovDC has started taking registrations of interest from potential delegates and sponsors.
Last year's event attracted over 1000 registrations, making it one of the largest meetings of public and private stakeholders in the country. This year's event is designed to be even bigger, with keynotes, a CIO panel, presentations from the state Department of Finance, Services and Innovation and technical sessions from key partners.
GovDC said the exhibition will provide a physical representation of the online GovDC Marketplace, facilitating key introductions between buyers and sellers.
The GovDC Marketplace is designed to facilitate whole-of-government transition to an as-a-service ICT model based on the hybrid cloud. GovDC is the agency that manages the government's consolidated Silverwater and Unanderra data centres, which were supplied by Metronode.
