Global Health wins contracts in ACT and Adelaide
Melbourne-based Global Health has secured contracts with ACT Health and the Adelaide Primary Health Network (APHN) to provide its MasterCare electronic medical record (EMR) system.
The company has signed a five-year, $3 million contract to provide the MasterCare EMR and MasterCare Data Warehouse software and reporting platform for the ACT Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services’ (MHJHADS) electronic clinical record (ECR) project.
MHJHADS will use MasterCare to integrate its clinical record management across its operations, replacing paper-based clinical records.
The ECR project is a key component of ACT Health’s $90 million Health-e Future Program, which aims to enable coordinated information sharing and collaboration between the different parts of the ACT healthcare system.
Global Health has also announced a contract with APHN to roll out MasterCare EMR for the Adelaide metropolitan region.
This deal covers annual licensing implementation and support for 250 concurrent users.
APHN will use the platform to be able to provide improved client management tools, data capture and other capabilities for its contracted service providers.
The implementation will include access to the MasterCare Data Warehouse platform and the ReferralNet secure messaging platform.
Global Health has been supplying state and federal healthcare programs for over 10 years.
