NZ ministry adopts TechnologyOne's CiA
The New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has completed transitioning its finance business suite to TechnologyOne’s latest enterprise resource planning solution, CiA.
The ministry has gone live with the SaaS-based platform, which provides solutions for managing an organisation’s financials, supply chain management and corporate performance management, as well as other operational elements.
CiA has been designed to allow customers’ employees to work seamlessly from any location and device. The platform will allow the ministry’s over 6000 staff to complete their day-to-day tasks using a single intuitive interface.
TechnologyOne CEO Ed Chung said the ministry will be able to use the platform to streamline financial operations. “Our SaaS solution enables both operational resilience and exceptional and flexible digital service delivery, and our customers — like MBIE — have the fundamental components for efficient service delivery; making these even more effective for all citizens, no matter their background or situation is a matter of design, education and clarity,” he said.
“We are so proud to enable and be trusted by more than 230 federal and state government departments and agencies across New Zealand and Australia.”
Procurement of the platform was completed under a framework adopted by the ministry and TechnologyOne in April 2021 that was designed to enable 23 New Zealand government agencies to transition to SaaS-based environments.
