Reinvent.LGov to focus on innovation
The upcoming Reinvent.LGov (18–19 April 2018) conference will be a skills development event for local government representatives that will feature case studies of ‘big change’ innovation from ‘community first’ councils from across Australia.
Projects on show will include Ipswich’s Fire Station 101 innovation hub, Wyndham’s ‘innovation journey’, Southern Grampians’ digital transformation and Cardinia’s business process improvements.
The comprehensive agenda will include interactive workshops that will model key steps in the innovation process using structured thinking and the example of real transformation challenges.
Topics covered in the presentations, case studies and workshops will include smart cities, innovation investment, service delivery, citizen experience, sustainability and connected rural communities.
The event will also see the presentation of the National Local Government Innovation Awards.
The event is aimed at councillors, CEOs, directors, and managers and officers in innovation, business transformation, digital transformation, information management and business analysis.
