Skyfii secures SaaS contract with NMA
Sydney-based data analytics and marketing services company Skyfii has secured a deal to provide its data collection and analytics solutions to the National Museum of Australia.
The three-year contract will see Skyfii provide its IO Connect data collection and IO Insight analytics offerings to the museum on a software-as-a-service basis.
The museum will use the IO platform to better understand and engage with its more than 1.2 million annual visitors. Insights will be generated on visitor return rates, the frequency of visits, visitor flow and dwell times at different exhibits. The museum will use this data to plan its exhibits and flow to suit visitor preferences.
The deal marks Skyfii’s first long-term commercial contract in the Cultural Centre industry vertical, which covers over 2000 museums and galleries across the nation. Skyfii is moving to expand beyond the retail mall market, where it has a market-leading position, into new market segments.
“We are very pleased to have been chosen as the National Museum of Australia’s preferred partner for data analytics,” Skyfii Managing Director John Rankin said.
“The NMA is one of Australia’s pre-eminent museums, which we look forward to growing a long-term relationship with through the deployment of our data analytics services — supporting the museum in enhancing its visitor experience.”
