Speaking with Domo’s CEO, Josh James, the Minister describes how NSW is leading the world in accessing and using real-time data to improve government effectiveness.
Using real data about a government rebate scheme, the Minister said, “With citizen feedback, the most important thing is if they are telling me we are not implementing our policy well, then rather than waiting for a senior public servant to report to me in three, six months’ time — by which [time] it’s too late to move the ship — I’m seeing this in real time.”
