Wellington Regional Council overhauling ERP

New Zealand’s Greater Wellington Regional Council has engaged enterprise applications provider Unit4 and government software provider Accela to modernise the council’s finance, HR and payroll systems.

The companies, along with Unit4 system integrator partner Agilyx, will implement Unit4 Business World as the council’s new enterprise resource planning platform.

With the implementation, Greater Wellington Regional Council aims to streamline processes and modernise their processes and improve efficiency across government.

The design phase for the project is schedule to commence later this year.

“Unit4 is pleased to announce Greater Wellington Regional Council as a new customer, and also have Agilyx and Accela as our trusted partners in this major project,” Unit4 Country Manager for ANZ Chir Tithof said.

“Our ERP systems have delivered outstanding results to customers around the globe and we’re looking forward to helping GWRC modernise their systems and deliver better services to their internal and external users.”
