Armis completes IRAP assessment
Armis has completed an Australian Information Security Registered Assessor’s Program (IRAP) Assessment for its asset intelligence cybersecurity solutions. Achieving the certification will allow the company’s Armis Centrix platform to be used to manage government data up to the Protected classification level.
The announcement follows a recent contract win with a large state government department in Australia.
Globally, the move also follows the company’s recent strategic acquisitions of risk management company Silk Security and AI cybersecurity company CTCI, which were aimed at positioning Armis as the provider of the leading cyber exposure management platform and as the biggest asset intelligence company in the world.
Amis cybersecurity specialist for ANZ Zak Menegazzi said the completion of the assessment reflects the company’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of security to all levels of Australian Government and their partners.
“The assurance of the IRAP assessment for Armis is extremely timely as we mobilise our expertise, empowering our customers and partners in Australia to address the entire lifecycle of cybersecurity threats,” he said. “We look forward to extending this reach to support additional public sector entities as well as a result of new opportunities enabled by this assessment.”
Armis Centrix is a cloud-based platform designed to proactively identify and mitigate cyber asset risks while protecting attack surfaces. The company said the platform can also secure assets including IoT and OT devices, medical devices and other key assets.
