Dynatrace completes IRAP assessment
Observability and runtime application security company Dynatrace has completed an Australian Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment, certifying the company to handle Australian Government data up to the Protected classification level.
The assessment of the AI-powered observability, automation and optimisation solution Dynatrace Platform was conducted by cybersecurity and digital transformation company Sekuro.
The assessment began in September last year and was completed in January, and involved a rigorous program including documentation review, technical configuration reviews, observations of core processes, remote interviews and necessary evidence gathering.
Dynatrace CTO and VP for Solution Engineering Rafi Katanasho said the assessment will help the company expand in the Australian market.
“The successful completion of this IRAP assessment now allows us to expand our ability to work with both public sector organisations and commercial businesses which require the higher ‘Protected’ status to have been reached,” he said. “We’ll now be able to provide the robust cloud capabilities they require to gain accurate and informed data insight in real time to make better business decisions.”
Katanasho added that the assessment will help the company support the Australian Government in pursuing its cloud-first strategy.
“Dynatrace looks forward to working with [government departments] to fully discover the real benefits of the value in their cloud investment through advanced observability, AI and automation,” he said.
