SentinelOne, Arete launch public sector security solution

SentinelOne and cybersecurity consultants Arete have launched a solution aimed at helping support sovereign and regulated deployments for APAC government and public sector organisations as well as regulated entities.

The companies have developed a deployment model that enables SentinelOne’s AI-driven detection and response capabilities to operate within on-premises and network-restricted or sensitive environments. This will enable government organisations and those in the banking, financial services and insurance sector to meet strict data privacy regulations and on-premises data storage mandates while achieving timely threat detection and response.

Where required, security telemetry can be shared with existing security information event management platforms to support established operational workflows.

Customers will also be able to ensure compliance with data sovereignty requirements, according to Arete President for APAC Raj Sivaraju.

“This new solution enables Arete and SentinelOne to support sovereign and regulated security deployments in high security environments,” he said.

SentinelOne SVP for Sales APJ Kris Day added that cybersecurity in high-security and government environments “requires trusted, compliant and AI-driven security operations that can operate effectively in restricted and sovereign environments”.

“This collaboration with Arete enables organisations in the APJ region to strengthen defences, maintain compliance and achieve consistent security outcomes without compromise,” he said.
