NSW FaCS: more partners for ChildStory project
The NSW Department of Family & Community Services (FaCS) has selected Salesforce, Conga and CloudSense as technology partners for its child protection IT infrastructure overhaul project.
Conga provides a suite of solutions for managing data and generating documents, report and contracts leveraging Salesforce data.
FaCS will use document generation platform Conga Composer to streamline and automate the creation, merging and delivery of child programs and case documentation for the new ChildStory collaborative platform.
The ChildStory project aims to realign child protection activities around profiles of the individual children in the system, providing mobile case workers and police, education and health departments with real-time information.
FaCS recently selected MuleSoft to help support the delivery of the $100 million project and has now added more technology partners. Integration of the ChildStory platform has already begun.
“Sharing information is a key element of good casework and ChildStory will be developed in a way that allows this information to be available to make the best possible decisions,” ChildStory program director Greg Wells said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to use innovative design and technology to improve how we provide child protection services and make the most of the skills the sector has.”
