Acer ANZ lands Queensland DoE contract
Acer Australia and New Zealand will supply 12,000 notebooks to Queensland teachers under the Queensland Department of Education (DoE) Computers for Teachers program.
The Acer Travelmate Spin P4 devices will be issued throughout 2023 following the organisation’s successful tender, which has seen it awarded the largest portion of notebook requirements for Queensland DoE for the second year running. The contract is worth over $15 million.
Gaba Cheng, Acer Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, said the contract solidifies the relationship with Queensland DoE and delivers a purpose-built solution that is a fundamental tool for teachers.
“Educators need purpose-built solutions that allow them to not only teach but thrive in their respective roles across the sector. Acer builds education devices from the ground up, offering tailored and durable solutions for teachers, as well as students and their parents,” Cheng said.
