Information improvements for VicEmergency app
The VicEmergency app has been updated to include new features.
These improvements will alter the way in which the community receives information regarding heat, sharks and beach closures.
A new ‘heat health’ map filter has been introduced and will display heat health alerts declared by the Department of Health and Human Services.
Links have also been added to shark sighting and beach closure incidents to provide users with additional information on the Life Saving Victoria website.
There have also been a number of app fixes implemented to adjust the notification process and tweak some of the backend functionality.
The VicEmergency app is available for download from the App Store or Google Play.
