NSW Govt's buy.nsw now has 30 cloud sellers
The NSW Department of Finance's digital.nsw has approved 30 cloud sellers on its buy.nsw shared procurement platform in its first month of operation.
The new portal now has 21 cloud product listings, covering cloud applications, infrastructure and hosting, with more seller applications in progress.
Approved sellers include Macquarie Telecom, Accenture, ASG Group, NTT Com ICT Solutions Australia and Vault Systems.
The department has also sent invitations to join the platform to around 160 members of the ICT Services Scheme that offer relevant cloud products and services.
The portal now also has 44 approved buyers from more than 20 government agencies, and is ready for the first sale to be processed.
The platform will be made available to more than 200 government agencies, as well as more than 2000 community groups registered through the ProcurePoint point of entry.
buy.nsw lists products in 10 categories, including cloud products and support, software design and development, software design and maintenance, as well as end-user computing and peripherals.
The other categories are infrastructure and networks, telecommunications, managed services, advisory and consulting, workforce, as well as training and learning.
