Workday joins DTA Cloud Marketplace
The Australian Government’s Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) has appointed Workday, a provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, to its Cloud Marketplace, a digital sourcing arrangement of cloud computing offerings for Australian government. Workday’s suite of applications, including Workday Financial Management, Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Adaptive Planning, is now available via the Cloud Marketplace to all Australian federal, state and territory government agencies seeking to replace ageing technology and disparate systems.
With Workday, customers have a single, agile system for finance, HR and planning that can automate manual processes, scale with agency needs and continuously adapt in a rapidly changing landscape. Stephen Jack, Managing Director and Vice President of Workday Australia and New Zealand, said the appointment to the DTA’s Cloud Marketplace will enable Workday to offer innovative cloud applications for finance, human resources and planning to the Australian Government, thereby driving IT modernisation.
Many public sector organisations around the world have chosen Workday, including Public Trust in New Zealand, the Crown Commercial Service in the United Kingdom and the City of Los Angeles in the United States. The Cloud Marketplace can be accessed via the DTA’s BuyICT platform.
