Magentus appoints new APAC leader
Health technology company Magentus has appointed healthcare veteran Christopher Ladds to lead its Asia–Pacific operations.
Ladds has more than 26 years’ experience in the healthcare sector, including experience rolling out major national health technology integrations for the UK National Health Service such as the Emergency Care Solution across England’s ambulance services.
In Australia, Ladds also played a role in establishing the My Health Record national electronic health record system. He served as manager for health and public service and then senior manager of Accenture Australia from 2012 to 2017, and was consulting director of PwC Australia from 2017 until May this year.
In his new role, Ladds will spearhead the delivery of new solutions enabled by the recent merging of Citadel Health, Wellbeing Software and Genie Solutions into the Magentus group.
Ladds said his experience managing complex transformations in both the public and private healthcare sectors has highlighted the importance of giving clinical teams the right tools to deliver better care.
“I want to make sure our solutions evolve to meet changing demands and that we’re helping those clinicians, nurses and radiologists make the right decisions as quickly as possible, saving as many lives as possible,” he said.
