WA Govt has 600-plus online services

The Western Australia Government has launched a redeveloped whole-of-government website, WA.gov.au.

More than 600 online services, including information and data, are available through the single entry point.

The website was developed after consultation with the public using a test website, and in collaboration with government agencies that deliver the bulk of services to the community.

The design aligns with accessibility best practice requirements and enables easy downloading of information in case of poor internet connectivity.

“The McGowan government is committed to making it easier for Western Australians to engage with government services when they want and where they want,” said Innovation and ICT Minister Dave Kelly.

“This new digital service is here to complement existing telephone and over-the-counter services, not replace them.

“With more than 600 online services across the WA public sector now available, WA.gov.au makes it easier for everyone to find and access the services they need,” he added.

“The WA.gov.au website showcases the McGowan government’s whole-of-government approach to service delivery and commitment to the digital transformation of the public sector.”
