Microsoft signs MoU with Objective Corporation
Microsoft has signed a collaboration agreement with Objective Corporation aimed at helping government agencies balance collaboration with information governance requirements.
Under the agreement, the two companies will work together to ensure that information stored in hybrid digital environments — including those established to support the rapid move to remote work amid the pandemic — is subject to the same controls as would be imposed in a physical office.
Objective content solutions will be used to control the way information and documents are shared, stored and secured. The portfolio will include Objective Governance for Microsoft Teams, which is designed to meet the need to balance collaborative working with regulatory compliance.
The collaboration agreement also covers email governance, SharePoint governance and version, history and security controls for co-authored documents.
Objective Corporation CEO Tony Walls welcomed the collaboration agreement. “This MoU formalised the strong relationship we have developed with Microsoft over many years. Together, we help customers balance collaboration with robust information governance,” he said.
“Microsoft 365 has been deployed widely throughout government and regulated industries and plays a critical role in enabling everyone to work more effectively, creating documents and collaborating easily — all necessary elements of the way we work today.”
