Promoting safety in workplaces of the future
With the rise of digital technologies and automation, the face of workplace safety is evolving.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work will be held on Sunday, 28 April, alongside Workers’ Memorial Day.
This year, it will focus on a safe and healthy future of work, with Safe Work Australia encouraging business to promote safety and adapt to the future.
As digital technologies and automation become more common, employment and workplaces are changing. Coupled with an ageing workforce and rising levels of stress, it is more important than ever to make workplaces safe and healthy and reduce the risk of workplace injuries.
