Rapid7 completes IRAP assessment
Threat detection company Rapid7 has completed an Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment clearing key solutions for use in protecting government data up to the PROTECTED classification level.
The solutions assessed are cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) solution InsightIDR, network vulnerability management solution InsightVM, web application security product InsightAppSec, and security orchestration and automation (SOAR) tool InsightConnect.
Rapid7 VP for APJ Rob Dooley said the certification will pave the way for more Australian government agencies to access the Rapid7 Insight platform, which aligns with the company’s commitment to protecting all levels of government.
“The successful completion of the IRAP assessment at the PROTECTED level demonstrates Rapid7’s commitment to supporting Australian government customers and providing access to a comprehensive security platform necessary to tackle the ever-evolving challenges of today’s cybersecurity landscape,” he said. “Rapid7 helps hundreds of government agencies worldwide effectively protect against security threats and quickly respond to breaches, which is why we are thrilled to support the ongoing protection of the Australian public sector.”
The Rapid7 Insight Platform is designed to provide data collection, visibility, analytics and automation tools for security, IT operations and development teams. US-based Rapid7 has over 11,000 customers worldwide.
