buy.nsw launches beta guided buying experience
Digital NSW and NSW Procurement have launched components of its new guided buying experience for agencies into beta.
The platform's policy library and some buyer and supplier guidance have been released on the beta version of the buy.nsw site.
During the beta phase, government buyers and sellers will be able to find policies using keyword and natural language search, and access simplified supplier and buyer guidance.
The agencies plan to incorporate other dynamic libraries — covering tools and templates, contracts, schemes and training — on the platform soon.
First launched in June, the buy.nsw platform is designed to progressively replace the current ProcurePoint portal to act as a single way for the NSW Government to engage suppliers.
NSW Procurement and Digital NSW's joint Digital Procurement Transformation Program team are transforming buy.nsw into a centralised gateway to access procurement information and platforms.
It will be designed to act as a guided buying experience for agencies to consolidate and simplify the procurement process.
